You may want to incorporate the st Joe, this road (weather permitting) is said to be an awesome drive.

I've done Lo-Lo. It is fun, but the run up the river can be slow with traffic and nowhere to pass. It is beautiful. I wouldn't mind a run to Thompson Falls, MT sometime.
Chris,
Do you know if they have paved the N side of the St.Joe river road? _________________

I just got back from rafting on the Clark Fork and there was some construction on I-90 once you get over the pass into Montana. There was only a few miles where we had to drive in the opposite lane and dodge some cones, but it wasn't bad at all... I just hope they don't decide to go ball's deep and tear it all up anytime soon. |

That sounds like the same construction that has been there the last 2 years in a row. _________________ Double-Double, super-size, and don't forget the fries...

I'm pretty positive I remember I90 getting knocked down to one lane at some point on the way to St Regis and the way back the last 2 years. _________________ Double-Double, super-size, and don't forget the fries...

I'm sure you're right. I'm always in the back and we usually drive over at night, but this year we did it during the day. I must have not noticed before. |
