I didn't see any blue smoke this morning, I didn't check all that hard though. I should be home in about 2 hours to check things out more closely.

I'm likely in, pending I can get my shift covered.

Curious, do you guys typically take 2-way radios with you? I bought some a few years ago and haven't used them at all, thought it would be to have

1983 BMW 6 series...

PostPosted: Thu Sep 17, 2009 3:45 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Just got my 6 Series sorted and ready to go.

I'll change the name so you won't recognize it, but I took my BMW 6 to "Grease Barrel Larry's" so that I could take advantage of their XX point service. I brought my own synthetic Oil and Filter. I was told that I would not get the XX point service since I didn't buy their oil. They did at last air up my tires. My gear box oil was low and they wouldn't top it off and they were going on about what horrible leak that I had with the gear box.

Fortunately and for 25 dollars later, I did get it service at Steve and Dusty's on Newport Highway today. For Gear oil and labor. So I am ready to roll. There is no noticeable leak.

My 10 year old son is enough of a gearhead that he wants to come along. He is skipping going to a friends birthday party so that he can go to Montana in the BMW.

Marke30 if you want to Navigate, there is room in the 633CSi. The offer is there, you can take it if you want. If some cute girl shows up in a Z4 and asks you to navigate, I'll understand.

Sadly I will not be able to attend I've got to take care of the boys this weekend, and this would be way too much for them. Besides, with what I think'll be happening on the drive, I don't think it's something that I'd want the boys along for. Sorry. I'll be there on Friday night to wish you all well!

Nothing will be happening on the drive that wouldn't be appropriate for kids.... unless YOU are doing those things.

You should still come to the meet up in the morning with the boys.

Yeah, I just might do that. I'm gonna see what I can pull outta the bag. I'll still have to change my oil before I go, but maybe not. I'll talk with Kyrstin and see if I can separate the boys and leave her with one, and I take the other. However, I might have to take the fly rod and fish the Thompson River...
