|
|
First points event is scheduled! Lets make a good showing you recently instructed racers
Time: 7:30-8AM (Do not be any later than 8:15 or you won't be able to race)
Location: Deer Park Airfield - Directions are posted below
Price: $30/Day for NON-ASNW Members and $20 for Members/Day
$5 Dollars off for pre-registering and either prepay online or pay for both days on Saturday
Please PRE-REGISTER at the Axware ORM site: http://www.axwaresystems.com/axorm/calendar_main.php If you need help with registering on Axware ORM please contact me and I can help you get sorted.
By pre-registering this saves everyone time in the morning which means shorter days, more runs and the possibility for fun runs which I know everyone likes.
Please no alcohol on the site (also don't show up drunk and hung over, it's not fun, trust me).
DO NOT speed on Missle Site Road! Very important to stay within the speed limits and keep your cars quiet on this road in the early mornings. Neighbors can be a bit edgy and this could lead to ASNW losing the site.
Directions:
Two easy ways to get there:
- Take Highway 2/Newport Highway into Riverside. Look for the sign that says Deer Park at the light and turn LEFT (Road name I believe is Crawford). Go up about 2 miles and Missle Site road is on your right.
- Take Highway 395 towards Colville and take the main Deer Park exit on your right. Followed that road until you get to Crawford and turn right. Follow that down about 5 miles and turn left onto Missle Site road.
The entrance into the Airfield is on your left at the end of the road. It's a dirt road so drive slowly please.
Other things you might want to bring:
-Lunch/snacks - easier than driving into Deer Park for lunch sometimes
-Warm clothes - you never know with the weather this time of year
-Tools/fluids just incase something happens
-Camera incase you want to snap a few pictures
-Cash for fun runs
-Your own helmet (they have rentals if needed)
-Tape for taping up your car and numbering it
LETS GO RACE! _________________

If its $35/Day we'll probably only be going on Saturday fyi, but that makes me wonder... As far as the nwbmw points race is concerned, (and probably the others,) points are tallied after the weekend, not the day correct? So the only disadvantage of us not going Sunday is whether we could have gotten a better time or not. Instead of only getting half the possible points. I'm pretty sure thats how it works... _________________

It's good and bad. The problem is, they post results for EACH day with different courses on each day. Can't go by weekend results for those who only did one day. _________________

member price per day is 20.00
Non member price per day is 30.00
5.00 discount for the weekend if you preregister and pay for both days on sat.
membership is 35.00 for first person,
15.00 for each additional person
Must be a member for a Season Trophy
===============================================
Best deal is to become a member and preregister for both days.
You can race the whole weekend for 35.00 that way. |

If you can't afford it, just sell your car's grille, or turn signal switch, it's not a necessary part or it's something most spokane drivers don't use anyway, and you can always buy another one when you're not broke. _________________

Well, if I can just register for SUnday only, I may do that. I figured that if I don't make Saturday, I can't make Sunday. Generally my experience has been that you've got to make both days, or the first day, rather than the second.
If I can just register for Sunday, then I'll probably come out and whup some ass in street tire... _________________
